Solar Battery Pack

Not too far on this page, but for now, Jimmy and Margaret...Hi!  Hope your drive was good.  You probably remember this dude last year.  There is a four-panel fold our 200W panel with plug that fits in the back of this.  You know.  And the other foldable panel, Big Greenie, 100W can direct charge with both USB standards...

After you told me you have solar panels I Google Earthed to your house.  That is awesome.  That some serious wattage.  Impressive.  How close to oof grid are you?  I assume you could be if you were to invest in the batteries.  Have you?

One thing that bums me out about New England energy is this Jones Act or whatever law that forbids nat gas coming from one of the largest nat gas fields in the world right there in Pennsylvania.  There are also pipeline permitting issues.  But, from what I've read from smarties, that New England imports its nat gas...from places like Trinidad and Tobago.  What a waste.  To ship it Bruns fuel?  And the freezing of it takes even more energy.  Maybe that's fixed by no.  NE sent a letter to Secretary of Energy, but she is not too up on molecules and energy density and math--although to her credit, lately she's been getting on the nuclear power thing!  It's about time.  Nuclear power is emissions free!  It's an actual miracle and we barely use it. But I rant.

And M, you asked me what I thought of your wood burning heater..and I balked. I wanted to get back to you with the exact numbers?

Kilograms of CO2 emitted per gigajoule of energy.

Wood combustion:  up to 110 kg of CO2

Natural gas:  about 60 kg.

(Per book "The Material World").  Google a comparison to see.

So wood can be almost twice as bad as the fossil fuel natural gas. Sadly, Bloody England imports tons of wood pellets from chopped up forests in Georgia.  They do this because "wood" is catorgorzised as a clean by disingenuous regulatory bodies.   And England gets the credit(s), literally, for being green!
