Herculean effort by Mary Kate, Maggie, Tommy, and Anne on clearing out all the unused shingles from under the main cottage on Bouy!  

 

Spiffy, indeed. Look at the clean, crisp Canadian Shield granite bedrock!  Reminds me of the day 11,000 years ago when the last glaciers of the last ice age melted.  Those were the days.

Back Breaking work by Mary Kate, Maggie, Tommy, and Anne.  Had to be 200-300 pounds of them.

I am told they were dumped out front by the red bouy.  That should be fine.  Though they are made mostly of oil, the deterioration will be slow and too far away from our dock to be noticeable!
